The cattery contains 20 spacious suites with an outside area so they can enjoy the sunshine.  Each unit has confortable furnishings inside including chair, cosy bed, scratching post, covered toilet area and air-conditioning/heating.  While your cat can move freely between the inside and outside area duiring the day, at night the door is closed giving it a secure indoor sleeping area. 

• The daily rate for looking after your cat is $15.00 including gst.

A few tips to help you and your cat have a safe holiday:

First Time Use of a Cattery - If using a cattery for the first time this can be a bit scary. We say that the cats settle in sooner than the owners. Most cats are such a part of the family they pickup on your emotions. The more relaxed you are the more relaxed your cat will be. We welcome people to come in and have look over the cattery and ask as many questions as you like.

Carry Boxes - Cats are very smart. As soon as they see luggage being packed or the carry box come out of the cupboard they know what’s going on. Does this mean a trip to the vet? Try and associate the carry box with good things. Bring the carry box out a couple of days before the trip. Set it up near where they eat, and try putting there favorite blanket in it or a favorite person's old tee-shirt.

Car Travel - No cat likes going in the car. They may complain and sing out a bit. Talk to them in a calm happy voice telling them how beautiful they are and how much you love them and what a wonderful holiday they will have. Keep them in the carry box and use the seat belt to secure it.

Two or more cats - If you have more than one cat we find it best to keep them together during their holiday. If they tolerate each other at home they become good friends at the cattery. If you are unsure please talk to our staff.
